For implementing the VIA C3/Eden ESP processors in desktop systems, a fansink composed of an aluminum extrusion heatsink and a low noise medium rotary speed DC axial fan will be sufficient to meet the thermal requirements. In addition to the approved fansinks, the user is encouraged to test similar thermal solutions to cater for individual requirements such as reduced noise coolers.
