Supporting socket 370 Intel® Pentim® III, Celeron™ and VIA C3™ processors, the VIA ProSavage™ PM133 combines the VIA Apollo Pro133A chipset with the award-winning Savage4™ 3D and Savage2000™ 2D graphics engines for an integrated chipset that is scalable designed for Information PCs and mainstream PC systems.

With a range of FSB speeds up to 133MHz, the VIA PM133 chipset allows flexible support for Intel® Pentium® III, Celeron and VIA C3™ processors. Supporting up to 1.5 GB of PC133 SDRAM and VC133 DRAM, the VIA PM133 also allows for an optional AGP4X interface that allows for connection to external graphics cards.

With the VT8231 South Bridge Controller, the VIA PM133 chipset includes an integrated 10/100 BaseT Ethernet controller, AC-97 audio, MC-97 modem, Super I/O, hardware monitoring capabilities, flat panel monitor support, support for four USB ports, and advanced power management.
