Prototypes of personal assistant robots have been
developed in the Dept. of Electrical and Control Engineering,
National Chiao Tung University. A PDA is used
to remotely manipulate the robot through WLAN. Face
recognition and tracking facilitate the robot to interact
with family members. The brain of the robot is constructed
using VIA EPIA single board computer. |
